Hallucinations, dreams and Synesthesia

I experience both.

I often can't tell the difference between the two until the stimulus goes and things return to my normal - then I know it's just neurological.

But I'm really struggling to tell the difference between hallucinations and synesthesia.

I also struggle a lot with working out what I've dreamed or daydreamed and what has actually happened. I also get Dr ha vu a lot.

Any advice? I'm tired.of embarrassing myself. And it stresses me out that I don't know what's real and it makes the dissociation worse.

Thanks

I often confuse dreams and reality and it takes me a while to adjust after dreaming. I was recommended to try grounding techniques. Could you try something like that? Maybe talk to someone who can help too. This is clearly distressing you, so maybe it’s time to ask for help.
