Taking part in research studies

I have Boderline Personality Disorder and would really like to take part in a study to help further BPD knowledge (as it seems to be poorly understood). Does anyone have any ideas about how to go about this or where to look?

When I've been involved in studies it has been done though my doctors surgery/specialists. So could you maybe talk to those involved in your care and see if they know of any studies?

I am not sure where you live but if you take a look at mh charities websites they may be looking for people with mh problems for research purposes.

IoP at kings do loads. Normally you tick a box when you enter a service on a form that you don't mind being contacted. Then once something comes up that you fit the bill for they contact you.

They also pay usually for your time.

There's ncmh but it's for people in Wales only.
