UK postage question
I have a letter to send and it requires a large letter stamp. I don't have any large letter stamps however I so have plenty of first class stamps. Is putting two first class stamps acceptable? I would hate for my recipient to get charged.
Otherwise I would have to get to the post office and it would be a lot quicker than having to go to the post office if I could put two first class stamps. |
Yes, you can put 2 small stamps on it. I've done it recently.

I've used two stamps before and it was fine =)

People are right, 1st class normal are 64p, 2nd class are 55p and a 1st class large letter is 96p thus covered by two stamps.
And now I sound super geeky. |
Thanks everyone. I rarely have a letter that requires a large letter stamp hence why I have none. Not that I send letters much these days as all my bills are paid via direct debit.
