Suicidal ideation
 

On my care and treatment plan (the system we have in Wales) it has relapse signatures. One of them is "suicidal thoughts and ideation". What does suicidal ideation mean?

Also I am in the process of updating my care and treatment plan. Is it worth putting ideas of reference on it in the relapse signatures part?

It means the forming of plans/concepts of suicide.

Thanks you two. When I am bad I tend to think a lot about suicide and talk about suicide to my cpn. Since she wrote that part it makes sense.

Do you think that I should write ideas of reference on the relapse signature bit? It happens whenever I see Prince Charles on TV that he tells me that he's an alien. Dunno why it's him I can watch the queen fine. He even popped up in a Facebook picture once and I genuinely thought the text said that Prince Charles was an alien.

Anyone know? I am interested in other people's opinions.
