My father just woke me up to tell me that the legendary singer has died of cancer today.

It was only last night I was listening to his new album.

I'm speechless.

May he rest in peace.

I'm genuinely gutted. One of my heroes.

I was awake when the news broke and my jaw literally hit the ground when they announced it :-(

I don't even have words. An absolute musical legend. RIP.

After a day of listening to every Bowie album and drinking lots I still can't get my head around it. I feel like I have lost a member of my family.

Agreed on the sadness of it. Been hearing his music a lot in various places out and about today.

I only found out when seeing it on the computer and I was (actually) not aware of his cancer until I read more.

His legacy will live on; that's for sure.

Can any of his avid listeners help me out. I need to get into his music but I've only heard three songs. I was wondering could I get a playlist from fans?

There's so much it's hard to recommend anything specific. I'll give you a few albums, Low, Heroes, The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and The Spiders from Mars.
