Tourette's sh (trigger)
 

Hey all, I was diagnosed with Tourette's when I was 19 that was over 10 years ago and now I have got a lot worse. I have noticed that I keep hitting my head and I can't physically stop it. I have tried all the usual distractions techniques and nothing is working. Please help me. It's really impacting on the relationship between me and Graham. What can i do?

I'm sorry I don't have personal experience with Tourette's but this sounds very upsetting for you. I'm wondering if you have any support services like a psychologist or clinician who works with Tourettes? Does anyone know about the self harm?

I spoke to someone on 111 service over the weekend and i also spoke to Sams as it was really getting me down and now I am gonna speak to my GP about it and also mention it to my p-doc, the thing is I don't want it to interfere with my new job. So I am hoping to get it sorted so i can manage it better.
