Psychiatrist liaison team

Not sure if it's okay I post this here? It is a rant though..

Tonight I've been really unstable, I've completely broke, my partner phoned them whilst I was on my knees hysterical and said they couldn't do anything unless speaking to me, which at the time it wasn't possible for me to even breathe properly let alone talk, she then started to sound more and more agitated, which made me feel so so so much more upset and told my partner that there isn't anything she can do and it's up to him to decide if it's an emergency or not, and left us to it, I now feel 10000 times worse and can no longer see how to deal with this, my last option of help has disappeared, I'm so scared and really don't know what to do? I understand that the teams are busy but I'm also only getting in contact with them now because it's a last resort, I'm not trying to cause any problems or be a burden on them, I know hospital work is hard, anyone know what I can do now? Please :crying:

Sorry you didn't get a reply to this sooner. That's really poor of the psychiatric liason team to not offer you any kind of support. How are you getting on now? I know it's really hard when you've had a bad experience, but I would still recommend trying the psychiatric liason team again if you are struggling. Hopefully there will be a different staff member on who will be more helpful. If they say their service isn't the best one to help you at the moment, you could ask them which service might be more suited.
