What do I do now?
I just had a complete shock. My boyfriend has always worn wristbands and I never really noticed until today. Yep...it's pretty obvious what I saw. He doesn't really know about my problems with cutting although he does know I've had problems with my eating. I know I should say something, I never knew he had any kind of problems which means he must be putting on a constant act. What do I say to let him know that he doesn't have to? How do I say it?

Try not to worry too much about talking to him about it. What better person then you? As for what wording to use... I couldn't really tell you. Go with what your heart tells you. If the moment seems right then talk to him then. Maybe tell him about your own cutting before asking about his and then maybe he'll open up on his own. *Hugs*

just find some alone time with him, let him know about it, maybe even sharing your experiences with it might make things a little better, you all will have some better understanding with each other. good luck, i hope it goes well.

Maybe you could try sharing your experiences with him and then that may make him feel more comfortable about opening up to you about to you. Hope it works out alright for you. Take care xxx

Try talking to him if you care about him. I mean maybe he just needs someone to talk to and if he knew you had problems with it maybe he would open up to you some. I hope you can find it in you to talk to him. Good Luck.

Can you ask him about it ?
or just mention SI and see how he reacts towards it... |
