TMS treatment

I was just looking into alternative treatments for depression, and I stumbled upon an article about TMS treatment (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation). I was just wondering if anyone has had this procedure done before and how it worked if you have.

Also if anyone could provide some different kinds of therapies (aside from talk and group) or treatments that have worked for them, that'd be much appreciated!

I hadn't heard of this form of treatment and had a little read on it. It sounds quite interesting. I looked it up on NICE guidelines and currently offered outside a trial in the uk as they are not to sure yet on strengths etc.
I have tried various meds, and they have a high success rates for a lot of people, though many have to try a couple. For me they weren't so successful as I have bpd ocd. But I know people they have worked wonders for.
What treatments have you tried/been offered ?

Mainly medication and talk therapy. I've been through numerous drug changes along with dosage shifts and nothing really seems to be working. It's starting to get really frustrating & I just wanted to see what was out there. Where I go for therapy has a TMS chair and that's mainly why I wanted to look into that specifically since it's within arms reach. Thanks so much for your input!

I found reiki really helpful. Also I found massage helped to relieve stress and I enjoyed crystal therapy. Maybe something to look into? X

I'll definitely look into it. I asked my counselor about the TMS treatment and she said it hasn't been approved yet for minors, but I'll definitely ask around about the different therapies. Thanks so much for the replies!
