Dry shampoo.

I have discovered the wonders of dry shampoo. I remember trying it many years ago and it turning my hair grey, so I never bothered again. I woke up late today, and had to look smart as I was going to a volunteering event with the mayor, local MP, various community organisations etc, but I didn't have time to shower/wash my hair. I ran into Wilkinsons and bought some of the Batiste stuff. It's amazing! Perked my hair right up.

Does anyone else use it? Obviously it's not ideal, and it would be better to get up on time and shower, but for emergencies I think I've found my miracle product.

Are there any other brands that are any good? I quite like the smell of the Batiste one though.

Pointless post is pointless. But I am interested.

I use it, it's bren really helpful for me at times I'm in a rush.

I use the same brand as you got the only issue I had was with the one that adds volume as it made my hair feel horrible. Other than that it's fine :)

I've used it before and it works wonders :-)

Dry shampoo is literally a life saver. I use Batiste too!

I love it. Especially the brown tinted one, just to avoid the old grey hair issue! This is really disgusting, but I got called back into work from the gym when I was working for the ambulance service and didn't have time to wash my hair, and it fully de-greased my hair in time for work!

I find dry shampoo makes my hair look greasier :-/

I Need to invest in some of this, I am forever sleeping in and not having time to wash my hair. I'm disgusting! This could be a great help though, thanks! I'll have a look for some and report back.

I love batiste! My hair gets greasy real quick, I'll wash it in the morning and it'll be greasy by the afternoon. I take the stuff everywhere with me :)

I would marry dry shampoo given the chance ;-p

works great but the smell puts me off.
it's a shame because my hair gets greasy really quickly and have to wash it everyday.

Well look at that for coincidence. I know where I'm going!

Dry shampoo is amazing. I have only really used Batiste.

I use batiste too, you should put it on the night before so when you sleep it gets rubbed into your hair fully and gives your hair more volume the next day :)

I need this in my life. Like, now.

Is it not basically talcum powder in an aerosol can?

nowhereman 11-06-2014 06:38 PM

Look what I just got! I couldn't decided which one to get so I just got both. Only cost me a fiver for both anyway, so why not. Thank you Aubergine for this thread.

I've never used dry shampoo because talc works fine, although I always have my hair up so greasy hair isn't as noticeable.

Do you comb the batiste stuff through or just spray it on?

ButterflyBeFree 22-06-2014 01:01 AM

I work in a kitchen so dry shampoo is a lifesaver in between washes. Spray it on, comb it through. Easy. I do prefer the tinted one though, no gray hair
