Why is everyone I know not worth my time?

Seriously. One night I need the people I call friends to do one thing for me but whoops-a-daisy they're "too busy" or "seeing my girlfriend." The amount of time I put into helping them. Fixing their PCs or laptops or sorting them out with XBox ****. Or just giving them advice. Advice I know **** all about but it somehow seems to work.

Advice about their girlfriends. A topic I know nothing of worth about but my advice works because I see it from an objective view. They never listen though but expect me to give it anyway.

I'm a naturally cynical person but I feel like I'm being taken advantage of. In this case and in every other facet of my life.

Am I over reacting?

i dont think you are over reacting at all. perhaps if you explain to them how you feel they might realise how it seems.
i know its not the same, but you always have us on here.
what is it that you need help or advice with?

I dont think you are over-reacting at all. A relationship is suppose to be about give and take. Try sitting them down and telling them how you feel. Hopefully they will listen and try to be more understanding of your needs. Peace and Love <3

maybe you are overreacting.
i dont know.
it depends. how often does this happen? you've only really mentioned one situation in which your friends have done this.
maybe they all just happened to be busy that night, or had made plans with their girlfriends already, before you asked.
that doesn't seem *THAT* unlikely.
but yeaaah. i dunno. talk to them? although i'm guessing youre a guy, & im not sure how that conversation would go with your friends.
or just try & ask them to do something else for you. & see if anyone's free.
it may have just been a coincidence.
heh.

*hugs*...no, you're not over reacting. People are stupid. It seems like everyone I know does that. "I'm too busy...sorry...but maybe you could do me a favor tomorrow?!" Argh...people...I'm sorry you had a bad encounter with the human race... :(

im sorry your friends werent there for you. sounds like you care alot for them so i hope you can talk this thro with them. hopefully it was just a case of them already having plans and perhaps not realising how much you needed them. hope your feeling a bit better about it today. pm me if you like.
