duloxetine withdrawal
I've been on duloxetine (cymbalta) 60mg for six years now and I am coming off it in a graded way due to now being mentally stable.
What are people's experiences of withdrawal symptoms? Did body weight change at all? Thanks for any info |
My experiences with duloxetine were terrible, and I found withdrawal difficult - it felt like my brain was 'zapping' all the time, a lot of nausea and dizzyness and the feeling that my brain was far too small for my skull. I think I did lose a little bit of weight, but I can't be certain as I'd entered recovery from my ED a few months before and I'd stopped weighing myself. I was on 80mg at my final dose and pretty much went down to nothing in a couple of weeks upon doctors instructions, but I know a few people who have been on duloxetine and all agree that a slower decrease helps control withdrawal a bit better.
Great to hear that you're doing better :) |
I've just gotten off Cymbalta and agree- dizziness and brain zaps. Don't know about weight loss- I'm struggling a lot with restrictive eating and try not to check
