Stressing about money

Long story short, I've just been off work all weekend with mild concussion and won't get paid for it because it was partly my fault.
It couldn't have happened at a worse time, I've not had any overtime so far this month apart from tomorrow and I don't have the opportunity to make up the hours I've missed because I'm on holiday for 2 weeks starting on Saturday and any overtime I do the week before payday will be after the cutoff date so I won't get paid for it until the payday after.
I've worked out that I'll be down just over £100, worst case scenario, I'll be able to pay my rent and possibly my electric and nothing else, that still leaves my part of the TV license and internet to pay for.
I don't have any family or friends that I can borrow money off and I'm really stressing out about what I'm going to do for money and food for a month, I thought about a payday loan and decided it's probably not the best option for me because I doubt I'd be able to afford to pay it back and even if I could, I always forget when I have money coming out for things, so it'd be more trouble than it's worth, if anyone has any suggestions for how to get some money, I'd be really grateful.

I would approach your family and friends about food? Is there a soup kitchen local to you or a foodbank. They may be able to give you something. I got a food donation from one of my local shops.

You could try selling some of your stuff on eBay? Like CD's and DVD's for instance.

I can't think of anything else right now but I am glad that you are not going to get one of those loans. It really isn't worth it.

There's a foodbank here so I could try that again, I'm so glad I don't live as far from there as I did in my old house.
None of my family live in the same area as me so it would be difficult to get food, we're all in the same position really to be honest, my brother and his girlfriend rely on foodbanks a lot of the time and my mum's ex husband left her in loads of debt so all her disability goes on that and then any money my stepdad earns at work goes towards the bills.
I can take some stuff to Cash Converters and just sell it on buyback, I've done that loads of times, I've got a DVD that I preordered off Amazon as well and forgot to cancel until it turned up, I'm not sure if I can send it back and get a refund if I've taken the plastic wrapping off, the extra £20 would really help right now.
I'm going up to Wales to see my friend on Saturday for the weekend, we'd planned a day out but I just said to her that maybe we should cancel the day out this time just to save some money, there's always next time anyway.
I'm just trying to think of ways to save money, I think I might still have a few bits of food left by the end of the month, I'm hoping so anyway.

Food and shelter are your main priorities.

Can you go without anything at the moment like internet?

Going to the foodbank, would be really useful. Don't feel bad about going, that is what they are there for.

Selling some stuff at cashconverters is also a good idea, and will hopefully give you enough money to get by.

There is no harm in trying to send the dvd back to amazon, or at least sell it on eBay perhaps.

I can speak to my housemates about it and see if I can give the money to them at the end of the month when I get paid again.
My sister just said that if she can afford it, she'll help me out with money so I don't have to worry too much about it.
My dad would probably give me money but I always worry because he sends it in the post and I feel bad asking him for money when I barely speak to him.
I'll figure something out, hopefully I'll get paid more than I think I will, I'm so glad I get paid holiday.

Just an update, I think the situation is kind of sorted.
I didn't realise that my wages had gone up last month until I was checking something on my payslip yesterday, I thought they would go up next month. It hasn't gone up by much, but at least I'll be getting paid a bit more next week.
I also didn't realise that I would get paid time and a half on Friday because it was bank holiday so I've now made up a day and a half. I'm on holiday now until payday next month so there's no chance of me making up any of the other days, I'm hoping I did some overtime last month after cutoff week and that'll go on this month's pay.
Things don't seem as bad as I thought they were to start off with, I know that if I'm still stuck, I can ask my sister to help me out, I'll leave that until I'm desperate though because I'd rather not leave myself owing people money.
I'm just hoping I'll get paid more than I think I will, I know it won't be as much as usual because I haven't done a lot of overtime but as long as I can at least pay my rent and bills, it'll be fine :)

hold up a bank you will either get money or be given free accommodation with free food or be killed and not have to worry about money its a win win

You can sell used books, dvds, cds and stuff on Amazon. And it is super easy to do that once you have a seller account.
I do that when I've read a book that I don't want to keep or when my bookshelf is just too full.

I need to declutter again anyway, I'll have a look through my books at some point, I'm sure there's some I've never read and probably won't read. Thank you :)
