A Personal Experiences Forum

I have a suggestion for a forum (not sure if it's been suggested before though) or maybe even just a thread under general support.

This thread/forum would contain the personal experiences from people that wish to share them. Experiences could be anything, counselling, therapies, etc.

People that then have to undergo something and would like to find out a bit about it, could come onto to this thread to find out about what it would be like, and what to expect.

I also put a poll on here because they sound awesome and I haven't put one on a thread before :p

I think we have personal experiences section in a few places on the main site, it sounds like something appropriate to go there and maybe advertise a bit to get more experiences added

Hm, I haven't checked for similar threads. Probally should've ^.^. But I guess it would be a good forum so then everything is in one place maybe.

You guys are probally right.

But his would just mean it's all in one space

Maybe just a thread under one of the support forums like you said would be a good idea. Better than making a whole new forum come to think of it.

Hm, I kind of understand what you're trying to say

Personal experiences are interesting - but I think RYL actually should drop forums. A lot of forums were added over time when RYL was more active before Facebook, tumblr and all those things.

I think it's a really good idea! I would find it interesting. The only concern I have is that there are some very varying opinions on different types of treatment between some members. That's not a bad thing and everyone's entitled to their opinions, I'm just worried that an argument could break out.

Like you say everyone is entitled to their opinions. But an opinion is an opinion so people shouldn't be arguing really.

After reading through all he responses and feedback, it seems that rather than creating a whole new sub forum for here, it might be best to make a there'd under the support forums.

Also, people may have had bad experiences with something and voice their opinion, nothing wrong with that but then someone who is about to go do that thing may get negative expectations even though it may be the right thing for hem to do/go to.

I agree that some should be dropped. Will save some money for Harley I'd imagine.
