I wrote a book.

I've been working on this book for like...3/4 years.

Today I finished writing it. It's only the first draft and needs a lot of editing, so there is still a long way to go.. But. I actually wrote a book. It is currently 80,409 words long.

I literally just finished it so I am still in shock.

GO YOU :D

[Purple_Rain] 25-01-2014 07:00 PM

Yes Rich, It's totally about you :P

Thanks for all your congratulations guys :) it means a lot for me to be able to share my excitement with people.

My plan is to publish it by the end of June, so a little way to go yet.

This is the current synopsis, it needs a lot of work.

Quote:

Daniel; a multi-talented, bespectacled boy is the world's best human punchbag, both at home and in school. To escape the daily torments of life, he employs his other main talent: writing. Locked away in his room with just a pen and paper for company (Daniel is old school when it comes to writing), he can be the architect of his own dream worlds.

Daniel is a story told from both first and third person perspective, giving the reader a unique insight into the mind of Daniel and other teenagers like him who are the victims of homophobic bullying. The reader can only watch as he slowly gives up hope, only to have it spectacularly restored.
