Ran out of antidepressants

I thought I had another 10 left but turns out I only had 2
It's too late to order another prescription, but I go to see my psych again on Thursday

Is there any way I can get some emergency meds to tide me over? Or should I be okay missing 3/4 days?

Thankyou
- Holly

Hmm, I wouldn't advise missing a few days if you can avoid it. It might be worth giving your psych or GP a call and explaining the situation to them. I'm pretty sure they would sort out a few days worth for you to keep you going.

Hope you get it sorted x

Hiya I have done this a few times with my BP meds-what I did as I knew I couldn't miss them as even a couple days messes me up was ring my local pharmacy where I usually get the prescription from (as it was a saturday) and explain the situation so they got it organised for me and had it waiting a couple hours later there-I did unfortunately have to pay a little bit because it was an emergency prescription but it was either that or going the whole weekend without.
You can ring your surgery and speak with them and they should be able to get you a temp supply-you aren't the first to do it and they are used to these things happening.hope that helps :-)

Heya,
I wouldn't recommend missing them! Do you usually go to the same pharmacy? Perhaps they can give you a emergency script if they have history for your medication or even pay £7.40 and just get some for two days, to do this they ask your gp and go address to check you do take them. Hope it works out. X
