Happy Diwali!
I know most people on here won't be aware of it, but today is Diwali. It's an Indian festival which celebrates the victory of good over evil, and on this day, all the houses over here in India are decorated with lights and candles and diyas- it looks absolutely beautiful at night.
I'm not a religious person actually, but every year, on this day, I feel hopeful and that everything's going to be okay for a little while. For a fraction of a second when I look over the city- there are fireworks and every inch of the place is filled with lights. There's no darkness. So here's wishing you a very happy Diwali  :-D I hope you guys keep holding on, because there's always light at the end of the tunnel *hugs* ~Tanya |

I'm not Indian, but we used to celebrate Diwali at a school I went to and I loved it. Such an amazing festival, I wish we celebrated it over here!
