Anxiety when (hypo)manic

Anyone else get this?

I'm a bit on the high side right now and it pretty enjoyable except for the bouts of anxiety I keep getting. It like aggitated anxiety where I feel like I just wanna curl up in a ball and die. It's really generalised too, like there seems to be no trigger I just suddenly get really anxious for no reason. Like the other day I was at the gym in an aerobics class and it was about 30 mins into the class and I suddenly felt really anxious for no reason and just wanted to run out of the class. I also get anxious when I go to bed, I think it's because I know I'm not gonna sleep because of the mania but I just get anxious about the though of going to bed.

I have had this before while hypomanic and should be being put on proparanol for it soon I just wanted to know if others get this and how do you cope.

I dont have anxiety when hypomanic.

But I do have anxiety - so I can relate to your post.

Is there anything you have noticed that makes you feel a bit better?

The proparonol will be good when you start it, at reducing your anxiety a bit. Although Im not a big fan myself.

I completely relate. I often get anxiety attacks untriggered when hypomanic.
