new to vets...
 

hey, well... um... like it says in the title, i'm new to vets, never posted in their on v2 (despite being 19 - didn't think i 'belonged' there as such) but now the idea of vets seems to have changed, so i'm here :)

one thing i am curious about, though, is that now i'm 19 and in the 'vets' bit and all, does that mean i can only post in the vet's section & only attend vet's meets?

oh, and i'm marc btw. or gunny, if you know me personally. which i don't think any of you do. probably not, anyway. i'll shut up now :confused:

You certainly do belong here. You can still post in other forums and attend other meets. We're not exclusive!

thanks :) well i wasn't sure if now i was in here, i could only post here, and such... and as for belonging here, before i didn't feel i did, because it said it was for people who'd stopped etc, but i read the changes to vets thread, and now its not just for people who've stopped... well, i've joined. although i guess thats obvious, but yeah. i'm good with obvious, just not so good with everything else :D

I'm Siobhán.Yeah I know what you mean about it being for people who had stopped SI'ing. I think its much better now that there's a separate place for that.

and thats exactly what i meant, siobhan, about the old vets corner being for people who'd stopped SI'ing... thats why i'd never posted in vets previously, really. but now things are different, with the new rules, so i'm happy posting now :)

you can post whereever you like. There are people over the age of 18/20/25 who dont post in Vets cus they feel more comfortable elsewhere. I think its all about where you feel most comfy and at home. Sure there are general guidelines for what the forums are about but they arent set in stone!
