Screws
 

I had a loose screw, then all of a sudden I had a lost screw. Bugger. Without the screw, I can't see a damn thing.

Well....That's rather special.

May I ask what this is about?

What's 'special'? The screw holding the lens in place in my glasses. I have it selotaped in place right now.

Replace the screw with a stud earring. Slots in nicely. My glasses were held together for months like that and I didn't even notice the difference!

Opticians wil fix it for free/very little usually. :)

Ah I understand now, I didn't understand sorry.

I hate it when this happens though!

It turned out I actually snapped the frame, all my screws are in fact, where they should be. I have superglued them for now.

Unrelated, but my brother's dog chewed up his glasses to the point they were no longer recognizably glasses. So much so, in fact, he could not find his glasses and went home without them. I had no idea what was all over the floor until I found the lenses. Could probably go without saying, he had to get new glasses.

This happened to me once when I was eating one of my school dinners. They literally pinged off my face and the lens narrowly missed my food. For all I know I could have eaten the screw that was no-where to be found... :P :wow:
