Boring signature jpg question

I feel like the general gist is that scars visible in signature jpgs would be deemed inappropriate, as any such pictures are only really allowed on the jpg board in threads labelled "scars visible".

Is this a completely blanket ban? I want to put my tattoo in my signature, but there are some teeny tiny old scars near it. Is this legit? Asking first so I don't get into trouble!

I think if there are any visible scars it wouldnt be allowed.

Thanks, for your reply :) I thought that would probably be the case. *shakes fist at self for having scars* Fear not, I have an appropriate replacement idea already!

Photoshop them out? A bit of careful blurring would probably do the trick.

I could do this if you wanted me to! I happen to be quite the pro when it comes to photoshopping these sort of things and making it look completely natural. :) (Keep camera graininess and everything!)

Thank you Holly!
I need to wait until the second tattoo has healed properly, but after that I may well be seeking out your photo editing skillz!

Alternately, if you use foundation it should work well enough for a picture. Skin is generally a shade or two darker than your face.

But yes, no scars.

I do like the cupcake though!
