launderette sit in!
 

We all got home to a note telling us that there will be disruption to our water supply tomorrow.

Some, like me, have a day off tomorrow, and generally do their laundry then.

Cue heading to the launderette for our block. 2 washers and 2 driers. For about 100 people.

Thankfully not that many queuing, and my washing is currently in now.
Next stop - queue for the drier!

I had a lot of fun at uni in my laundry room. We'd sit and gossip like old ladies whilst our laundry was washing.

I agree it probably doesn't warrant an entire thread being made, but people can post what they want I guess.

I always hand washed and used these ancient spinners at my uni! But we had our chats about life in the kitchen and corridors instead!

Why waste of forum space? This is General Chat, is it not? *shrug* It's not tip sharing or anything. It's lighthearted mundane day to day life stuff.

We have 10 washers for 100 people.
And 10 dryers for 100 people.
