grrr, well this bit sucks
 

The boiler in our flat has broken, and they won't fix it until Monday! It's not classed as an emergency unless I have young children or am over 60! So we've no heat or hot water until Monday. At least I go back to work tomorrow.

So I had a cold shower this morning. Well, basically I stuck my head under the shower and washed my hair. Grr.

Then I went to the Virgin stall to get my broadband sorted and they can't find my address on their sysyem. All the other rooms show up, but not mine! Why me?!

So I'm sat in the library using one of the computers there. And have topped up my [highly expensive] dongle.

Sigh.

-hugs- it always seems that when one thing breaks or goes wrong the rest follows. Hope the boiler manages to get fixed. I used to spend most of my time in the library simply because it was warmer than being in the house.

It's just so so frustrating. AND someone has snitched the kettle so I can't even do a hot water bottle or a hot drink!

My dad's mobile internet he pays for using clicking adverts? Can't you get access to another rooms internet and pay towards it? I used to share with my neigjbour, we drilled a hole through to his house so he could put into my router and he paid 1/2. As for the heating we waited longer to get ours done (a week) and we had young kids, and it went off again 12 hrs after repair, took another week to get it sorted.

I don't know my new neighbours barely at all yet, not enough to share internet at this point.

The thing is, I have just got over a flu bug, and what with one thing and another, I am verging on dangerously underweight, so cold is not good news. Plus I have just moved out from a very cold flat.
