Do you have a doppelganger?
 

Was reading an article today about a project by Canadian photographer Francois Brunelle, seeking to take photos of people who are not related yet bear such a similar resemblance to each other they could almost be mistaken for twins or siblings: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...ike-TWINS.html



Have you ever come across someone who bears a close resemblance to you or someone you know? Personally I'd be quite freaked out if I saw someone who looked very similar to me (when I was unwell had paranoid delusions about people being cloned and replaced) :pinch:

No I haven't but recently there was an article on some entertainment news where there were about 6 "famous" ladies who look like each other. One was Katy perry but I can't remember the others.

No, but as a fun story I once dreamed that I met my doppelganger and then I died and became a ghost. I know you're not supposed to die in dreams but I did and it was damn spooky; even though it was about 8 years ago, I've only just stopped shivering every time I think about it!

Apparently there's a guy in my old college, doing the same course I did, who looks almost exactly like me. One of my classmates had to repeat the year and she thought he was me until she realised he had a bigger head. :P

Nope, I've not got one. People say I slightly resemble Jodie Foster though, for some reason.

For that doppelganger week on facebook a couple of years back (you had to change your profile picture to a picture of a famous person that you looked like), these were my two profile pictures, both suggested by other people.

I occasionally have customers ask me if I've ever worked in 'xyz', even though I haven't. Apparently there is someone out there who looks like me. [Makes me wonder if that person was ever so badly bullied as I was for my appearance. Makes me sad.]

i went to school with a girl who everybody thought was my sister and some even thought we were twins. our teachers couldnt tell the difference between us. it was really strange. so yes, i have a doppelganger.

They do!! Someone once said that i looked like Molly Ringwald when my hair was red but i disagree.

Emily Blunt looks nothing like Katy Perry and Zooey Deschanel.

I've never met them but apparently I'm one if those people who you think you've known or met before I'm always getting comments that people know me even if I've never met them before, so yes I must have a doppelganger. Poor sod for looking like me lol!

That picture of Zooey especially also reminds me of Alexis Bledel.

Jenna, people always told me that second picture you posted too! Which is odd because you and I don't really look alike, must be the hair.

I got told the other week I looked almost exactly like Catherine Tate. I don't see it myself.

When I was younger and had blonde hair and was going thrown a "emo" phase I got told by people filming X Factor nearby that I looked like Avril Lavigne and wanted me to do the "I'm Avril Lavigne and Your watching X Factor" thing for them.
Not cool.

People used to say I looked like a girl who won the Irish popstars many years ago. People I didn't know would even say it, and my mam mistook a photo of her for me once. But tbh, I wouldn't wish my looks on anyone.
