Previous username posts deleted
 

Hi Guys
I was just wondering if its possible to have posts deleted from a previous username?
I used to have a different username on here, then deactivated my account. However there are still posts from me on here, but obviously now I can't delete them. Many contain pictures that give away my identity...I hadn't realised how easy it was to find me.
Is there any way a mod can do this, as it's really distressing me that they're still on here. :(

Hmmm. Intriguing, I don't actually know what deactivating one's account entails! Are you 100% unable to access it anymore?

Having a bit of a panic attack because ive just found a load of posts with my face in. I didnt knwo they were still on here.
AGgh. I've reported them all, but dont want to annoy the mods :(

Is your previous username associated with you outside of RYL, as in, people in real life are likely, if they wanted to, to use that name to search for you? Also, are you specifically searching RYL or using a generic search engine like google.
If they are in the picture board, remember that that is a members only board and not open to guest views.

its a bit of both. one of my usernames I accidentally used for other things.
They are in the picture board, but I know people I know are on here, and they're not people I'm close with or comfortable with :(

Are you able to change the usernames on these other sites you have used? I offer this suggestion only because it may take a while for these posts to be changed and you seem rather agitated and upset over this.
If they are in the picture board, remember that that board is filled with pictures and older threads/posts are generally not as viewed as newer ones.

I cant access my photobucket, as I deleted the email address associated with it! So silly! I'm probably just being paranoid :(

It might be possible to have the username changed here, Camilla (random.swirls) is the lady to ask. I'm pretty confident it can be done manually by her, without you requesting it through your profile. But I'm not 100% sure.
