Day 1: Puff the Magic Dragon by Peter Paul and Mary
- This song is about growing up and I always used to listen to it.
Day 2: Somebody that I used to know by Gotye
- I'm only 15, never had a romance, but when I broke ties with my best friends this was the song that was playing in my mind.
Day 3: The Best Day by Taylor Swift
- It's just a really sweet song about mothers.
Day 4: Keep Warm by Ingrid Michaelson
- It's just a really soothing song with gorgeous lyrics. And it's by Ingrid Michaelson: what else can I say? (!)
Day 5: Happy Pills by Norah Jones
- This is such a super catchy song with an awesome instrumental part.
Day 6: Few Small Bruises by Maria Mena
- This song is about someone helping the singer out with self harm / suicide and that's exactly what my best friend does for me. :)
Day 7: Hakuna Matata from the Lion King
- We went on safari over the summer and the whole time everyone was making references to the Lion King!
