Maybe a bit of advice could be given

I am unsure this is actually in the right forum but I'm going to ask it anyway. Recently I've been just so lonely, I know I could get better if I just had some friends! I've tried to meet people online but they never live anywhere near me. People often say they have no one but I really mean it. I don't have any friends. I'm worried I'm going to start making them up again. Friends can provide you with support and stuff and I know I'm a bit socially awkward but I'd try to support them as well. So this is a shout out I guess >_< If you have any ideas on how to meet friends and stuff, this sounds really pathetic now I am rereading it. I just can't cope with having no friends anymore, just someone who actually wanted to speak to me. Any ideas on how I could make some friends?

Your best friend is yourself - when you find you lol. Friends aren't any cure all. I suspect there is a wall up between you and people because people can make you react too easy. Don't make other people too important. Watch your own reactions to people and don't analyse/judge too much - especially yourself. Volunteer for some things and just do it because you like it and dont make expectations on yourself (be careful who you draw too because if your too eager you might settle for oddballs). Just follow your interests and see who you bump into. You want an attitude that says "If I make friends fine - if I don't thats fine too". Keep a nice and genuine attitude and peeps will spot you out. I was quiet in high school despite being all-everything. My biggest fault was judging everything too much and being in shell. That came from resenting people (which I learned at home)
