So i decided I was fed up with taking tablets just because I was told I need to.

And I got to thinking, what's the worst that could happen. So 3 weeks ago I stopped taking them and I actually feel pretty good about things. Ok so I'm not sleeping great at the moment but other than that... :-)

Just might be an awkward moment when it comes to actually telling the truth to the quack but ill worry about that another time..

Although I'm glad you're feeling good about things, I'm worried that you stopped taking your meds without consulting your doctor. I've done this before, and although you might feel good now, in a few weeks when the drugs are completely out of your system you might just come crashing back to the ground. Could you contact your doctor ASAP to let them know? You don't want to just start taking them again, that'll just mess up your system,

i think you should talk with the prescribing doctor, even if it is just to let them know that you aren't taking them. like Laurah said, things might go wrong, and it would be good to have someone on call...

In my experience, they're not that bothered. I think one doctor was a little bit irritated, but he didn't say anything, just when I turned up after 3-4 months (needed prescription every month/two) "So I guess you're not taking X any more?" It wasn't a big deal.

At the end of the day, you're better, that's all that matters.
