Pacing up and down rooms

Does anyone else pace up and down rooms? I do this a lot in the kitchen, especially when I am waiting for the kettle to boil or for something to finish cooking. I have some music on and walk up and down the kitchen, aimlessly. Am I the only one on here who does this?

I used to pace at work, and when I'm outside smoking but that might have more to do with how cold Its been!

I pace constantly when I'm alone. If I have to wait (or smoke), I either sit or pace. If I sit, I can sit still, but if I'm on my feet, I can't stand still. I need to pace around aimlessly. The only time I don't feel the need to pace (at least not quite so much) is when I'm with someone.

I do it, especially if I'm on the phone.

I walk round and round in circles if I'm on the phone. I also rock and spin around sometimes!

I do it too. Sometimes if I'm feeling anxious or whatever, but also, like you, I just get bored waiting for things in the kitchen. Glad it's not just me, it used to drive the people I lived with crazy haha.

I do this all the time, often in circles and don't tend to realise unless someone else is around & gives me a bemused look! Sometimes it's anxiety, sometimes restlessness & other times just boredom or an attempt to quieten my brain I think!
