Can I request like a mod? For me? Like if I **** up, or post something rude, can I have like a gto mod? Other than the 1 I got? This mod is like up my ass since I joined no other mod has been. I half think I'm being discriminated for having a penis by the only mod to ever mod me. Can I like have the mod who has cup cakes in their signature or anyone else besides the one whose already up my ass?

the mods dont work independently of each other, any decision that is made is done so with the opinion/agreement of 3 mods, it just so happens i think that Liz has ended up doing a lot of the actual editing and stuff as two of the mods are super busy with uni and working, one of them has been abroad for a while and also has the whole community team to run, one of them has the whole of chat to manage, i recently left the team and the others are kind of awol.

If someone else started editing your posts, if would still be after the same discussions, and you would still get the same pms through as they are automated.

I've had this problem for awhile, same mod. I've only made a few threads about it.

This is something you should email us about really.

I dont think it would be fair to put that on one mods shoulders.

Dunno who mods are.
But I got modded by someone different. Al I was asking for, not a hand marriage.

I've PM'ed mods about things and many times I never received a reply. Edit: actually that's a lie. There's only one mod who ignores me. Methinks it's the same one in question here.

It's been my observation that mods are much more lenient for certain individuals/ crowds when it comes to light rule breaking (admittedly in the past they've been easy on me too) and especially spam.

I see you've now had a post edited by a different mod for the same thing. Happy now?

Like the mods have said, lots of mod are involved in looking at post reports and deciding to edit a post or give warnings/points.

So, actually, it's probably not just one mod who's 'up your ass'. Maybe they all hate you and are being sexist against you. Apart from, you know, they are probably just doing their job and editing your posts when you flame people...

If you PM me I will hold my hands up and say that it either takes me a while to reply/i forget to reply, but then I get upwards of 30 PMs a day so I think thats forgivible! Just keep PMing,youll get something.

Well youre obviously not listening to whats been said, people dont get modded by one moderator so in answer to your question, no you wont be getting modded by anyone different. If you break the rules your posts will be edited by whatever mod happens to be around to do it.

I obviousy have *no* idea who you're talking about in this post, however I know that if I personally receive a PM that is rude, insulting, or degrogatory I ignore it, because no one has a right to speak to me like that. The people who are polite, or at least civil, I have no problem replying to.

If you stop breaking the rules/flaming, the mods won't need to be on your case all the time.

Besides, as they've already said, they work as a group and make decisions together. Perhaps you've had correspondence with one mod especially but that's more due to luck of the draw.

Without wishing to complicate things, one would have a case if they were mistreated by the police. Criminals don't lose their right to be treated like a human. I do think the mods ought to be accountable, should they be overly rude to a member they are reprimanding.

But in this case, I can work out what the PM said from the editing reason, and don't know what the problem is- my comment above is just a general one.

I think people are forgetting that the mods have things called Lives outside of RYL too...

I think given the amount of pressure they are under on this site due to the lack of Harley is something everyone is forgetting too.

The mods are doing the best they can under difficult circumstances, if you don't like what they are editing your posts, maybe this site isn't for you, or you are actually in the wrong?

I never said that the police mistreated them, I just meant that they didn't arrest the person and go 'oooo I am sorry for arresting you (as in being overly nice). So yea, you read into that wrong.
