Harry Potter vs. Twilight!
 

I have had a massive argument today, because my friend seemed to think that twilight was better than Harry potter, so heres my question, which one is the best??

Although I like both I would have to say Harry Potter.

Twilight. But the 4th & 5th film.
The first and second weren't that good.

Both are overrated imo but Twilight is cardboard. Potter is at least trying to superficially imitate Dickens.

Harry Potter all the way. I prefer it when main characters actually have personality.

As a member of Dumbledore's Army, I would have to say Harry Potter is fabulous.

As a vampire slayer, I would also have to say that Edward and Bella were killed soon after the events in Breaking Dawn by one of my colleagues.

Harry Potter, although apart from having large fandoms and being fantasy orientated I don't think they can really be compared, just my opinion.

Harry Potter!

I took Twilight out the library before it got popular 'cause I thought the cover looked cool (that, kids is why you should never judge a book by it's cover!) and ended up literally throwing it across the room because it frustrated me so much. The writing style was terrible, the characters were awful, and it was a silly story. I preferred being forced to read Sherlock Holmes as a reading book in primary school, and reading that was like drawing teeth. (Then, because nobody else would go, I ended up going to see the second film with my best friend. If I had been alone I would have walked out. Instead, I slept. Waste of money.)

Harry Potter until book 5.

Twilight when it's used as kindling.

Harry Potter for plot, good characters and general readability.

Twilight for when in need of toilet paper.

How can they even be compared?

Harry Potter covers magic, imagination, evil vs. good, love, friendship, death, life lessons.

Twilight is just a stupid attempt at a soppy "love story" with cardboard characters.
