Y'know how, when you look at someone's profile and they're reading a thread, it shows the thread title? Like "Last activity: Reading [thread] at [time]"? Lately I've noticed that sometimes all I can see is "Last activity: Reading a thread at [time]." Can anyone explain why I'm sometimes unable to see what thread someone is looking at? It's no big deal or anything, I'm just wondering.

It could possibly be that they're reading a thread that you don't have access to, for example in the CT, Supporters or modland.

Additionally, I think certain mods (Charlie and Liz) have secret powers that make stalking difficult, although I think that's mainly in terms of last posts [like, it says "Last post: never", and you're like ">.< that seems unlikely".

Yeah, it basically means someone is reading a thread on a board you don't have access to.
