Chat Support Evening. 20th November at 8pm.
 

Hello!


On the20th November at 8pm RYL is going to be running a chat support evening as a live chat discussion.

This evening will be based around the topic of Self Harm. There will be 5 members of RYL who have agreed to talk about their experiences around this topic. Some are fully recovered and some are going through the recovery process.

There will be time after each person has said their experiences for other members to ask questions. Please remember that these questions should be in accordance with the RYL rules and under no circumstances will rule breaking be tolerated. After the last member has talked about their experiences there will be time for other members to discuss their own issues too.

The members speaking have given up their time to do this and some are not experienced in chat so this should be taken into account. Any flaming/trolling/unkindness etc will not be tolerated.

Anyone who does any of the above will be kicked straight away. We usually work on a three strike basis in chat, however because we expect there will be a large number of members it is important that things do not escalate and tempers dont flare. This is an emotive topic but it is something that we would like to run more often on different issues and if this one is a disaster there will be no more evenings run.

Unfortunately we only had UK people volunteer and because most of the members/mods are in the UK its easier to work on UK time.

For those NOT able to make it, would it be possible to save the chat log and then make it available if members miss it?
I'm just querying, not sure how the chat log save function works.

I can try and save a log if anyone would like it!I cant promise though just incase my internet crashes during it.x

I was just wondering if it was possible. (: Just a suggestion, obviously it depends if anyone wants it.

Its a good idea!I dont mind saving it but I cant 100% guarantee that I wont get disconnected and lose the log thats all :] x
