What time.....
What time do you usually eat dinner?
Its 5.30 here and Im already considering eating dinner BUT I find it a really weird concept eating dinner before something like 7. My northern friend however thinks this time is the perfect time for dinner. Post where youre from too, Im interested to see if its a north/south divide :P x |
we usually eat anywhere between 5 & 6 ..
|
I would say dinner time is around 2-4pm..
And i'm from North Wales. |
We normally eat between 6 and 7 :)

I don't really have set meal times, I just eat whenever I need food. |
I'm from South Wales and I usually eat between 6:30-9. I'd find it weird eating dinner any earlier than 6ish.
|
Anywhere between 5 and 7 - whenever I get in from work and it's cooked, basically!
|
I prefer to eat between six and eight, but I usually eat at six on the dot.
|
It depends on how busy I've been, and what time I eat lunch. I don't like eating too late, so usually any time before 7pm.
|
5.25. Just in time to sit down to Neighbours.
Saturdays and Sundays are closer to six. And if I'm working it's whenever I can fit it in. |
i have my dinner around mid dayish
I have my TEA between 7 & 9 usually. I eat just when im hungry really, but its usually between those times. Im from east midlands but ive lived in London for years. |
When I lived at home it was around 5.30-6ish. I usually ate at the same time as my little brother. Now it's more like 7.30-9pm. Or just whenever I have time. I often don't get lunch til 3pm so eating at 5 would be too early. Other times I just have some breakfast/snack around 10-11 and one main meal a day at about 4pm.
|
I try to aim for around 6pm but it depends what I'm doing. If I'm teaching Zumba, I'll probably be eating something around 4/4:30pm.
|
I usually don't get home from work til 8ish, so usually 8 to 9 pm.
If I had a choice and got home in time, I'd probably choose to eat around 7pm. |

You have lived in london long enough to know that WE DONT HAVE TEA IN THE SOUTH :P x |
Aha, we used to have all sorts of banter about this at uni! Most of my friends were from t'North, and they always had dinner at lunch time and other such obscure things!
|
I live in the East Midlands, and dinner is eaten at 12ish.
Tea, however, is eaten at around 4-5ish, but since I finish work at 7 my tea is now eaten at 8ish ): |
What's the difference between tea and dinner? I'm confused. I've never called dinner tea before.
If I was to say, then lunch is at 1pm or 2pm, dinner is between 6 and 7pm, but to be honest I am a bit of a mixed up eater. Depends on my mood what time I eat at. |
