Open University short courses?
I now have....*counts* 6 days untill registration closes for a short course I am looking at doing.
It's a 15 credit level 1 psychology module called 'Understanding Autism' £270 (but my mummy has very kindley offered to pay) I am currently recovering from a serious illness, and the course starts in november. Any advice from people who have done an OU short course? Worth it? interesting? do employers like it? Has it been useful for you, helped with your career? Is the work load manageable? (very important as in a month's time i'm still going to be unwell) thankies :) |
I did a level 1 15 credit module when I was at school, called Diabetes Care.
It was OK, and quite interesting, but took nowhere near as many hours as it said it would. Like, 15 credits is supposed to be 150 hours and I got away with doing embarrassingly few hours on it [well under half I'd say] and still did well [I can't remember what the grading system is] Your module sounds more exciting than mine though, and I hope you enjoy it! |
