WW III is about to kick off but other than that things aren't too bad relatively speaking.

I think life today has its ups and downs. I'm not terribly happy with the state of the world but there are good things too.

We are far more aware and informed now than ever before about the world. This is simultaneously exciting and utterly depressing.

Technology is revolutionising the world, but alongside amazing inventions we also get organisations that can create multimillion dollar profit with very few staff, which doesn't work at all with the standard business models people propagate and use to support a national economy.

This is a huge moment of flux right now, and it will take a long time to overcome it.

To be honest, I don't think life is much different today than it always has been. We have more information, and more access to information, so that we can know and see what is happening elsewhere in the world, but that's just a technological advancement.
