Does anyone here a member of St Johns?

I think id really like to join my local one. I had a friend who was a member and loved it. Sadly he died last year.

I have no idea what that is. please enlighten me.

I think there are some members of St Johns on here but I'm personally not!

I'm not either, but they're are members who are.

I was a badger, and then a cadet for quite a few years. haha >.<

St John, singular. There is no 'S'. There is no full stop (after St) either, in case anyone's interested. :p

A lot of my friend's are members of St John. They really enjoy it and say it's really worth while doing! You should try and join :)

i used to be a volunteer with them. ring them and ask, it really is good

I know someone who volunteers with them and he really enjoys it. Go for it if you're interested :)

Im a member of a division in derby.

I used to be, for 3 years. My aunt and uncle are superintendents and got certificates for 50 years service recently. My niece & nephew are joining in September too. I really enjoyed it, it's great for meeting people & one of the most fun nights I ever had was on a trip away with them for competitions. You should go for it.

I am not a member, but it sounds like a lot of people on here are either a member or know someone who is a member..

You should really try and ring up cos i hear it can be really rewarding..

I found this on the Australian website and wondered if it's for iPhones worldwide.

I've just qualified as a trainer and assessor for London LINKs (which by the way is a tonne of paperwork, I think I killed a few trees). I'm also an ex-committee member, so feel free to ask me any questions (St John related, not first aid, I suck at that).

If you can travel into London for your meetings, the units there are usually bigger and have better training - as do all the major cities. They're usually 2 hours in the evening once a week.

No i wouldnt be able to go to London for meetings. i have found a local one in my town :)
