Changing user name
 

I tried to change my user name and got this message

Rule Violation: The username that you have submitted violates one of the Username Rules that the administrator has specified.

I did not mean to break the rules? What did I do wrong?

Well it would seem the name you wanted to change it to was rule breaking..

Pick something else.

It might be that the username is taken. Im not sure what the specifics are in regards to username rules, what did you want to change it to?x

Either someone has it, or it contains a character it dosent like or it was rule breaking.

I wanted to change it to just ballerina. Drop the Betty.
I guess someone already has it then coz I can't see how this is rule braking.

Yep, there is a 'Ballerina'. I just checked.
Not sure if dropping the capital B would help though?

Or adding a full stop? (or other punctuation)

Adding punctuation or numbers would be enough different that you could have it. or BBallerina might work or BallerinaB or whatever you like.

how long has it been since you made your current name? i think there is something about you can't change names within three months of making the one you have...
