Hi, everyone!!
I hope you all are having a great day!
Embrace the day, do something fun, listen to your favorite music artist. :)
Are you guys finishing up school yet??

I finished up school about 7 years ago I'm afraid, this is awkward.

*plays some bangin' tunes*

Steel Maiden 22-05-2012 06:46 AM

Don't forget about the time difference between USA and UK. I finished school in 2008. And I am on holiday from university. As for listening to my favourite music artist, the play counts on my The Prodigy playlist are into the hundreds.

FabulousMike 22-05-2012 07:52 AM

I finished school many moons ago too!

But yeah i'll TRY and have a good day, Mister sun is out so that's always good :D

I hope you have a good day too OP.

sammers99 22-05-2012 08:15 PM

Aw what a nice thread :)

I finished my first year of uni today actually, I celebrated by relaxing with friends, drinking cider and listening to music all afternoon and evening. Was pretty much the perfect end to a great year :D

I hope you are having a lovely day too!

sammers99 22-05-2012 10:02 PM

Congrats on fishing your first year of uni!! :)
That's awesome!!
What did/are you studying? :)

Palladion 22-05-2012 10:15 PM

I'm studying Wildlife Conservation :) It's so much fun!

sammers99 23-05-2012 01:49 AM

snailsgomoo- wow, that sounds awesome! What type of stuff do you get to do in class?
jefferson.meriwether- 100 miles?! Sheesh, you must have thunder thighs! :P hahaha. That sounds fun though!! I'm assuming you like to bike ride if you're going to ride 100 miles? :)

effervescence 23-05-2012 08:11 AM

Don't envy those of us who have finished school. We have to go to work. It sucks.

And is it me but is RYL getting older??

The only reason I clicked this thread was because I read your username as 'spammers'

/disappointment

sammers99 23-05-2012 08:08 PM

effer- Work sounds like one of those things where it could be fun, and it also could suck. I'm in high school, soooo enough said. :P haha. Hopefully I'll enjoy work once I'm out of school! I feel like if you're really doing something you love, it shouldn't be that bad, but I'm not there yet so correct me if I'm wrong.

snails- The wildlife conservation studies sound so cool and interesting! It sounds like you picked a career path you're really passionate about! :) it sounds super fun.

jefferson- Thighs like English Oak... bahahaha that's awesome. :) I'm glad you found something you like doing that much :)

severus- aww, I'm sorry. You can pretend I'm spammers if it makes you happier :P hahaha.

Zedebee 23-05-2012 09:13 PM

Sure, that sounds nice in theory, however for a lot of people you can't do what you love because you just need to get whatever job is available to pay the bills and buy food.

ferretmonster 24-05-2012 10:58 AM

-Carpe Diem 25-05-2012 01:47 AM

Today was my last day of 15 years in full-time education.
N'awh.
I did bog-standard GCSEs (English, Maths linear, Maths modular, Science, Science additional, German, RE, History Short course, PE Welshboard, CoPE, Prep for working life)
and
Heavy duty A-levels (English Literature, Classical Civilisations (with added latin/greek) and Theology)

xMakeSomeNoisex 25-05-2012 02:59 AM

I have been out of school for years by now. *suddenly feels really old*.

*puts on some tunes and starts singing Lucy in the sky with diamonds (quite loudly)*

............ -_- and now my brother is yelling at me to shut up (no one appreciates my awesomeness).
