what are my rights concering a mental health tribunal

I put a post in just recently but never really got answered as in i think what i said was worded wrong. I have already been to a CTO (Compulsory Treatment Order) and the reason for me going to that is because a while back they thought i was not taking my meds and due to this i was then put under section and was getting monitored in hospital. And i appeared at a tribunal in hospital and was let out to go home as long as i agreed to getting injections. In the CTO today i said could youu please lift the order as in make it possible that i can get back on my oral meds as in tabletys. And they said well we do see a great change in you as your looking well and doing well. But they said that it would maybe be another 6 months , and then there will be another review. But i am also wanting to know whaty my rights are concerning this and also what my rights are in attending a tribunal. I want nto know the best way to go about it and would it go good for me to present everything i have found out on the internet and do you know of anyone that has maybe written out hand written letters as in a letter to say why they shouldnt still be getting injections. I mean i am 51 and i have been on injections since june last year and before that i was always taking tablets and never had any problems with that in my life as i would ake my meds as regular as clockwork , but i want to know also is there anything i can do that would go good for me in the sense to get back onto my tablets again and am i within my rights to ask to get reducwed on my medication from what dose i am on to eventually be free from taking medication as i dont wantnto be taking medication the rest of my days , if you could help me out with anything to do with both matters i addressed i would be deeply grateful.

I don't have any answers myself, but I would advise you to get in contact with a mental health advocate. If you call you local Mind/Rethink/Local MH Centre, they should be able to put you in contact with one.

Good luck.

I am currently on one myself (have been for 5 months, due to expire at the end of this month,) and i don't think there is alot you can do. My advice would be to contact somebody from mind, who can advise you x
