Quick Random Survey - Books!

Hi all...I know I don't post much and I'm pretty much a lurker here, so I hope this is okay! I've got a question for you lovely people. :-p I'm doing a stats project for my math class, and I want to know approximately how many books you read in a month. I wouldn't ask here except that I need at least 50 responses, and I'm not getting enough on Facebook.

Why is there not a '0' option?

ferretmonster 04-05-2012 07:09 PM

sajhfuahuefghaeg 04-05-2012 07:13 PM

Yeap, 10+ usually. Love the library. =)

Hmm it really depends on if I am able to go to the library or if I have money to buy books whether I am able to read a lot or not. I sometimes read up to 20+ books a month depending on whether I can get to the library or not. I chose 6 though since lately it seems I haven't been able to go to the library much and am flat broke. I think for everyone it really depends on how much time they have and if they can make it to the library.

I am kind of a total nerd when it comes to reading so I read fast and go through books like crazy. (lol and that isn't even counting all the manga and online stories I read).

I don't really read that much. :(

The War Doctor 05-05-2012 06:19 AM

I used to read about 10 a month, but lately I've slowed down a lot and I have no idea why (it took me about two months to read The Hunger Games - not the trilogy, just the first book).

I agree which is why I had to put 1.

It depends on many things, how good the book is I'm reading, how much free time I've got and so forth.
On average I would read 1 or 2 books a month.
However on occasions when I'm cut off from technology, like on holiday, I can get through a book every couple of days.

i feel daft now, i concider myself a fast reader but tbh the only time i read is in bed.

one_step_closer 05-05-2012 08:10 PM

Do academic things count? D:

Where's the nil option? I'm not a fast reader. >.<

ShyGirlEiana 06-05-2012 11:05 PM

Thanks, everyone! This helps a lot!:-D

Sorry for the lack of a "0" option. I guess it shows how much I love reading - I didn't even really think of it.

Asura - Love it! Belle has always been one of my favorite Disney princesses because she loves books just like me. ^_^

It makes me happy that so many people here love reading and read a lot like I do! Yay books! :-D
