PND, Money Issues.
 

Been such a long time since I've been this low. I just can't understand it. I have 2 gorgeous children who I love dearly, but I just cannot cope with them. Am in such a catch 22. Need hubby to work to earn money but can't have him work cos I can't cope on my own with my kids.
I have severe PND after the traumatic birth of my 2nd child. He's now nearly 5 months and I've had it for about 3 months. I'm on AD's which really aren't helping.
I just don't know what to do anymore. I can't keep on like this. I'm just unravelling, I can feel it. I don't know how to stop

Traumatic births traumatise, and there's grief at not having had a 'normal' birth, and any other kinds of losses.
What does your GP say? Would you consider asking for some involvement with maybe a social worker to help you navigate all of this? And, are you having any therapeutic support?

After a traumatic birth of my 2nd I was offered a chance to go through my notes with a consultant midwife like a debrief it never happened but maybe you could ask hv to organize it for you? There's also support like home help in different parts of the country to help out. How old is the eldest? Some places provide child care for 2yr olds to give mum a break. Me and my husband split up so i went from him caring for them while I had pnd and stayed in bed to being a single parent to 2 messed up destructive kids.
