Anonymous posts?
 

This is probably a stupid question - since I can't recall having seen any posts on here where the username is hidden - but is it possible to post in an 'anonymous' way? For example, if the topic is extremely sensitive and you don't want it associated with your username. Or you're extremely paranoid about who's reading your messages, or something like that?

To be honest, I wouldn't like it if people could do that.

You can set up a second account to post things you dont want to be associated with you. You are allowed to do this as long as you dont use the second account to pretend you are someone else ie tell people your name is tom, your 45 and a doctor when its not true.

Make a second account. You just need to make sure no one knows that it is your alter account, otherwise it somewhat defeats the purpose.

Pandora's box is also an option isn't it?

I agree with the above. Most people I know on here have a second account for sensitive topics.

Thanks for the replies. I guess I could open a second account, but I also realised that I can delete my own threads if i get too self-conscious about them, which is useful. Thanks again.
