Veteran Corner Changes PLEASE READ!*keep bumped*
 

Hi all and welcome to V3. As you will see there are a few changes to the veterans corner.

The first thing you will notice is that its been split into two forums! We now have our own General forum for all things "non-triggering", like polls and funnies and debate and general topics like what thong to wear and the best place to shop for Ear and nose hair clippers. We also have the regular Vets support forum too where all the triggering and support posts will go.

The forums have been split to give people a chance to get the feel of things and to see if this split works to help the way vets is supported, allowing Vets who dont want to be triggered to read "safe" posts and those that need support to not get their threads bumped off the first page and be replaced by something a little more silly perhaps.

Secondly you will notice that some of the "general" threads have been brought across but the content has not. So basically things like fireside, coffee and chat are back with us but the posts arent so its up to us to fill them up again. This was not an exhaustive list of threads to be brought over so if you feel you want something else to come across then feel free to resurect at will!!!

Thirdly you will see that there arent many stickies! Theres only one infact which is the Plumeria one which we kinda thought would be fitting as the first one in support as its a firm Veterans favorite and is so inspiring!!! We can discuss and agree the rest of the threads to be stickied once we are up and running. So things like the psych ward and things like that.

Although the change is a little daunting and theres going to be teething problems and the change a little intimidating there is still room for growth and improvement within Vets.

OOOOOOH Finally you will notice that the description of Vets has changed too!!! It now refers to the older members and not those that have stopped their Self harm. This DOES NOT mean that if you have stopped your self harm that you can no longer post in Vets but that there is now a forum specifically for those that have stopped. Its called Moving Forward



Just see how we get on for the time being ok!

I hope you enjoy it here and that Vets continues to be the "special" place it always has been!
