Straw hair

I've dyed my hair a few times and straightened it quite a bit and my hair is pretty damaged. Does anyone know of any "natural" hair dyes?

Try henna dyes, they're not nearly as bad for your hair as regular dyes are.

Health food shops sometimes sell natural hair dyes :)

Beetroot.

Only problem is there's not a massive choice of colours.

Thanks guys, I'll definitely try those out!

Depends on the colour you want but there are a lot of vegetable based dyes available in bright colours that are better for your hair.

Also you need to use deep conditioners on your hair and oil treatments to keep your hair in good condition.

I find that the L'Oreal Elevive Damage Care repair shampoo & conditioner is really great when your hair has become brittle from dyes & stuff. Could you maybe give your hair a break though? I'm currently growing out the massive build up of highlights I had in my hair & it's so much healthier for it.
Also, do you use and of those heat protection sprays when you straighten your hair, to protect it from heat damage? & maybe it would be better to blowdry it straight rather than using a straightener.

There are some brands.
Hair salons have recently brought salon ones out
Ones without ammonia should be better for your hair... Semi permanents are kinder to your hair
You could just try using a moisturising conditioner pack - weekly treatment. You can pick them up quite cheaply in various stores.

On this topic (sorry to hijack hopeful) What volumizing or body boosting products do people use on their hair?

Directions hair dyes.
They come in funky colours. They're only semi-perminant but they're vegtable dies and don't damage your hair at all.
