When you're all grown up....
....and you no longer require your vast collection of teddies and plushies and whatnot....
What do you do with them? Throw them in the bin? ( ) Give them to a charity shop? Give them to someone you know? Sell them on ebay? Something else??... though I don't know what... I am curious to know as a collector of plush sheep.... discuss :D |
I will never grow up. I'm like Peter Pan. Also, I just refuse.
Ergo, ne need to get rid of anything. :] |
^ pretty much
I love them too much and always will |
I love you two ^_^
|
I used to have loads of teddies and stuff but I had to give most of them away when I moved, kept all the ones that are important to me though.
|
Personally i gave them to my neice or put them on freecycle, but i know our animal shelter gets tonnnns of stuffies donated :)

I refuse to give up my teddies ;_;
I have a growing collection of elephants and heffalumps ^_^ |
I let my dogs play with them. Took care of the problem real quick :)
|
I don't see why people should throw away their cuddly toys just because they become a certain age.
|
I have kept all of mine.
|
Keep ALL the toys for ALL the days of ALL the years.
Just sayin'. |
I've kept mine, but they're in a bag out of sight lol.
Kept for sentimental purposes as most of them were gifts. |

I kept some of my more special toys and gave some to a charity shop because I had a few too many ;P... |
I keep all mine. They all have memories.
|
Don't you just keep them, then you can sit around with them having a tea party in the garden? :D
Not that i do that or anything...*shifty eyes* |
I didn't have that problem personally, because the decision to get rid of stuff was made by my mother. I'm not sure where they all went, probably to friends with littler kids. I remember being a bit upset for a short while. :S
|
I have got rid of a couple at various times, and some are in the attic. One ended up spending a while at my grandmas and it came back smelling really bad and even though it could have been washed it didnt feel right anymore. And i decided that one was actually evil and going to get me, so i told mum i was going to get rid of it and she said she'd take it to her primary school, but i was scared it would kill her instead so i snuck it into the bin when she wasnt watching. However relatives who work with children are normally a good way of getting rid of toys. Sometimes even the ones i wanted back :s

I will never ever let go of my Fred *clings tight*
|
^ I'm the same with Boxers.
I agree with Oly, I don't see why anyone should have to give 'em up just because you get to a certain age :) |
