Super Important Avatar Question
 

Hi!
So I have what is hopefully a simple dilemma. I would like to put a gif in my avatar, but it just came up as a still picture, and if I had wanted a jpg, I would of used a jpg :(
Have I just got unlucky and chosen a guff one (there aren't many narcissa malfoy gifs around, I have to say!), or is there a Top Secret Trick I could employ?

It's too big for RYL. Which is why my gif for my non mod account doesn't work.

I can't remember off the top of my head what the dimensions are, but you need to compress/resize it for it to work as a gif, as currently it's set as an image because RYL is a silly.

If you send me the image I can try and resize it for you so it'll work, but I can't promise the quality will be the same or the lyk.

Mine works. :P Try saving mine and check the size

It's pretty poor quality. I'd leave it as a JPEG if I were you.

Mine works too... it's been years since I uploaded it though. I just found it (and the one in my sig) and stole it.

"Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 100 by 100 pixels or 781.3 KB (whichever is smaller)." If your gif is too big, open it in an editing software that can handle gifs and save it again at a lower quality.

Or send the gif to me and I'll do it. :]

thanks guys! Tiff says my gif just isn't really suitable, so am leaving it as a still :( I wish there were more Narcissa-gifs around, or that I'd chosen a less obscure character!
