It's been both awesome and horrible, so I guess I enjoyed it - to look on the bright side!

Life throws you a lot of negativity but it makes you happy, too.

It's been a pretty important year for me. I've done a lot and had some fantastic times. I guess it has been one of the best years, I've learnt a lot about who I am and how much I can push myself, even though I've had to take a year out of university.

I got obsessive with weight and overdosing.

I went to Kenya.

I turned 19.

April:
I started abusing laxatives and it was the first time I worked with my new managers at work.

Worked a lot - became more unwell.

I went to India.

October:
Freshers at university. It was hard and I came home early. Went back to work.

November:
Things got better and more comfortable at work.

There have been a couple of good times but on the whole, it's been a pretty bad year.

Why or why not?
It's life, isn't it? However, my mental health has been pretty bad.

I wasn't allowed out for the entire month.

February:
I hit rock bottom but learnt something invaluable.

March:
I got transferred to a different ward and realised how different things could be.

April:
I began to feel well and met with a friend, it was fantastic to have that time where I was well.

I was discharged from hospital.

June:
Had an operation.

July:
Went to the arcade with my friend and took a beautiful coastal walk.

August:
Very poorly. Won't go in to detail as not meant to be all depressing here!

September:
In hospital, I was allowed to stay up one night as a staff member was leaving and we had a mini midnight feast. It was lovely, though sad to say goodbye.

October:
Still in hospital, but still learning I can cope in situations I never felt possible.

November:
Discharged again from hospital.

December:
Six months free of self harm & visit my beautiful cousins.

My mummy died in August. It was bad enough before that - couldn't have surgery, Cyberknife, found out it had spread. But it happened much more quickly then we expected.

Found out my mummy couldn't have surgery

Eating stuff.

Went to see Boyzone and the Westlife boys with my mummy :)

Spent a shift with the Met Police (also the day my mummy ended up in hospital)
Also had my 22nd birthday (ok, I know that's two things :P) - my mummy was in hospital that day too but I spoke to her on the phone :) And it was still a nice day, went shopping with the twin, Sealife Centre with twin and best friend, then training and park with another friend :)

May:
Exams, boo. But also passed my orange belt :)

June:
Found out I passed my degree :) But also found out it had spread.

July:
My mummy ended up staying in the hospice for the first time. Also found out her chemotherapy wasn't working. But also had a nice day out for my graduation. :)

August:
Had a lovely week in Bournemouth, came home on my mummy's 54th birthday. My mummy stopped treatment on 26th August, they said a couple of months. We lost my wonderful mummy on 29th August. <3

September:
The funeral.
