Please Not Christmas
 

I wish I could just pause time and stop Christmas from happening, or fast forward over it.

I wish I could have the Christmas that most people talk about, where they have fun...

I do not want it to be Christmas.

do you know why you hate christmas? cause i do too and i dont know why. It makes me so anxious

I hate it for the arguments and the being stuck in the kitchen to cook. I hate it because It's a whole entire day with my family and their little snips at each other.

Gah I just hate it!!!
And I hate the tacky decorations and the bustle of everyone. The only thing I like about Christmas is the cute little kids and seeing them so happy.

Oh and I am extremely scared of Santa :P

My answer will be completely un-helpful, but I see what you mean. I don't want it to be Christmas either.
Stuck in a flat with my parents and sister is a nightmare. Why can't they skip this part of the year ?

Could you talk to someone else so they could do the cooking over Christmas? or talk to your family so they try not to argue for one day? Maybe talking to everyone can help them understand how you feel about the christmas period so they can make it better for you? :) Or you could see if you can stay with friends during christmas? there probably wont be as many arguments and you can all work together? :)

But I just found it, and going "YYYAAAAYYY, I'm normal"
Can't stand Christmas, hearing what a wonderful time everyone else had and going "Yeah, it was great, listening to mother yelling at my granddad what a horrible father he was, and her step mum yelling at her about what a difficult circumstance they were in... everyone just shouting and screaming.

I hate christmas too...


I find the only way to get through it is to plan things to do that I will enjoy at regular intivals throughout deceber so that I have something to look ofrward to. So no matter how bad things feel I can think to myself "at least in X days X is happening".
I also try to avoid it as much as I can, I basically stop going into town and stop going to shops as soon as november comes... but I doubt that it a health reaction

I wish i could take all your christmas away for you. Because even though i like it because my dad comes home, theres other stuff i dont like so i can sympathise.
