im currently taking venlafaxine, diazapam and labetalol. Ive been taking the labetalol for the last 5 months due to high blood pressure from my pregnacy. I started on the other 2 in the last 4 weeks. Ive been experiencing really bad pains in my tummy, dizzyness and im unable 2 keep any food in me due 2 needing the toilet streight after ive eaten. I cant get to my gp for 2 wks. Is there anything i can do in the meantime? Its got to the point i dont want to eat to stop the pain im getting =/ x

if its getting that bad i think you should call your doctor. its not something you should deal with for the next 2 weeks.

Have the stomach problems started recently, or did they start in conjunction with the tablets? How long have you been experiencing these symptoms?

Yeah, you need to get this looked into especially as you are pregnant, which does increase the urgency. You can ring the doctors and tell the receptionists your problems and they can give you an urgent appointment or get a doctor/ nurse to ring you back who may then tell you to come in so it's by no means that there are no appts for 2weeks so you have to wait for then, if it's bad enough they will see you earlier than that, just give all of the information.

Also, some walk-in centres do have GPs there so you could go to your local one and they may be able to health. Otherwise, you could also go to A&E but yes, this does sound like it may be due to a side effect (though it could be a stomach bug or similar) but don't stop the meds straight away as you should always talk to a doctor in person first before doing so; it doesn't have to be the one that prescribed them to you in the first place.
